When you’re working with files, you need a simple way to administer them. This is especially true when the files you’re working with are those that form your website. That is the reason why we have created our own File Manager. With it, you will obtain swift access to every function by using our right–click shortcut menus and our quick access icons.

With our File Manager, you will be able to also select and update multiple files, to unpack compressed archives, to upload and move files around by merely dragging them into the desired location and much more.

Our Domain Names Manager is the only place you need to visit in order to manage your domains. With just a couple of clicks of the mouse, you can forward or park domains, modify WHOIS information or update DNS resource records.

And the best part is that, when you are done, you can instantaneously begin working on your web site – you can upload new files, create databases or install web apps. All thanks to the fact that all the tools are located in one single Website Control Panel.

With the CrownHost Website Control Panel, you can easily set up an auto–backup of your web sites and your MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in your Dropbox account. This way, you can make sure that, irrespective of what happens with our servers, you’ll always have the most recent backup at your disposal.

Our Dropbox backup service is entirely automated – all you have to do is connect your Dropbox account and specify exactly how many backup copies you wish to keep at all times.

In the Website Control Panel we have added a tool, which permits you to install over forty famous software apps with zero configuration needed – our Applications Installer. You can swiftly install Joomla^™, Moodle, WordPress, Mambo and many other apps without having to proceed through complex setup processes and to manually set up a database. We’ll do everything instead of you, so your app will be live in less than 5 minutes.

And we keep a record of what you have installed, as well as the user name and the password that were initially typed in. This way, you do not need to be worried about forgetting your password.

With our Web Statistics Manager, you can track what precisely is going on with your web sites from the second you sign up with us. There is no need for extra configurations or extra accounts – we will begin gathering info the instant your site goes online.

At any moment, you can check exactly how many visitors you have had recently and how much time they’ve spent on your web site. You can view most–visited web pages, landing pages, exit pages and much more.

The faster your web site loads, the better. But at one point, you will need to tweak the source code. And this is the time when you can benefit from our selection of Web Accelerators, which includes Memcached, Varnish and Node.js.

Using them, you will be able to pull a little bit more power out of the machine your website is hosted on and to increase your web site’s speed considerably.

In the CrownHost Website Control Panel we have integrated the ModSecurity Apache module. It is a tiny module that does a significant job – it acts as a firewall for your apps, guarding them against hacker assaults, cross–site scripting attacks and URL forgery assaults. We have already set up the rules for the firewall module, so you do not need to configure it before it begins working.

And ModSecurity is enabled by default for all your web sites – as soon as they go online, they will be instantaneously secured. If you wish, you can manually disable ModSecurity for any of your web sites.

Our Website Control Panel features a selection of in–house–built marketing tools, which will help you enhance the reputation of your web sites. You’ll have a Sitemap Generator for bots and visitors to easily scan your websites, an RSS News module to add fresh content to your main page and a GeoIP forwarding tool to match visitors’ location with their language of preference.
